Elliot Hanson
Elliot Hanson, aged 17, Topper World Champion in 2008, first started sailing with The King’s School in Macclesfield on Saturday mornings under the instruction of Barry Edwards at Redesmere Sailing Club in Congleton, Cheshire. He has been sailing competitively since 2004 and in 2005 was selected for the RYA Topper West Zone Squad under Head Coach Neil Marsden, his first taste of real dinghy sailing began here.
